I am so excited to announce that First Dance Charlotte will officially be launching its first online course during the summer of 2019! This course will cover exactly what is learned in my “Coffee & Dessert” package (two to three in-person lessons) using the same methodology I have created and perfected over the past four and a half years of teaching wedding couples.

Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone who needs to learn to dance for their wedding and will include tips for first dances, father-daughter and mother-son dances, as well as first dances for same-sex couples.
Even if you are an absolute beginner, this course will break it down in easily digestible video tutorials that you can complete in a few days or over the course of several weeks.
If you travel a lot for work or have a hard time making appointments during the week, this is a great option for creating a simple, relaxed and romantic first dance when it’s convenient for you.

What does the course include?

This course will include multiple sections covering how to break away from the “prom sway,” how to twirl your partner gracefully, how to move around the floor to any song, how to dip (without falling over!), and most importantly, how to connect the steps smoothly and put it together for a memorable dance.
The course is also structured in a way that mimics an in-person dance lesson including time for you to practice what you learned in each section and tips on how to practice effectively and not get frustrated.

Unlike other online wedding dance lessons, this course is structured in a way to build your confidence immediately and have you looking like you know what you are doing quickly and with minimal effort. Even if you have zero dance background/experience and very limited time before your wedding, you can still look amazing during your first dance.
