Ah, Valentine’s Day.
Normally a day when couples get dressed up and head out to fancy dinners combined with movies, shows, performances, wine tasting, cooking classes… as long as it’s romantic and/or fun, I was all for it.
Pre-COVID that is…
For Valentine’s Day, it’s more of the same: Stay at home. Delivery of food from a favorite restaurant. A bottle of wine. Netflix. Chill.
Cue Freddie Mercury.
If you are bored of the same old routine, I’ve got something that is guaranteed to spark the romance and bring some joy to your Valentine’s Day.
Learn the basics of partner dancing in two hours or less
Take a crash course in basic partner dancing with my First Dance 101 online tutorial. Anyone who wishes they had a couple moves in their back pocket for their first dance, or for the next time they are guests at a wedding, will benefit from this tutorial.
Through videos, photographic illustrations and short lessons, you’ll learn how to slow dance like an adult and not like you’re at the prom, how to twirl your partner, how to move around the dance floor, and how to dip (without falling over!)
You’ll learn the four basic and universal steps that I teach ALL of my students in the first two private lessons. These steps can be applied to ANY song, so you’ll be able to use these moves for the rest of your life at weddings, parties, events, or just in your living room.
You’ll get immediate and lifetime access to this tutorial so you can sign up now and surprise your significant other with arguably the most romantic Valentine’s “stay-at-home” date night activity short of a hot air balloon ride and a private concert a la The Bachelor.
Step up your romance game with a song-specific slow dance tutorial
Enroll in one of my custom choreography dance tutorials to popular love songs like “The Way You Look Tonight" by Frank Sinatra, “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran, “All Of Me” by John Legend, “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis, and so many more.
You don’t have to be getting married or have landed on a first dance song to get the benefits from these tutorials. Each custom choreography tutorial starts with the same steps and instruction from my First Dance 101 tutorial and builds on it, adding extra turns, dips or patterns that move you around the floor.
Plus, you’ll learn how to put the steps together into a beautiful routine to a specific song. (Though you can still apply these steps to ANY song!)
The same rules apply: sign up and you’ll get access right away, so you can have the computer queued up and ready to go once you’ve had your second (or third) glass of wine.
Staying at home sucks. Learning to dance makes it fun.
For all of you DIYers out there who ventured into sourdough bread baking, pasta making, Skillpop class taking, etc. during this pandemic, this is your jam!
Enroll in one of my tutorials and by the end of the Valentine’s Day weekend, you will know how to dance for all those 2021 weddings that are lurking just around the corner…
