Remember the first time you slow danced with someone you had a crush on? My first experience slow dancing was at a "Trophy Dance" - an end-of-the-summer celebration and award ceremony put on by the pool and tennis club my family went to while I was growing up. I remember running away and hiding in the girls' bathroom after I danced with the boy I liked to "I Swear" by All for One. Although we were both only seven years old, it still felt like a monumental moment in my life.
Dancing with the one you love is one of the best ways to reconnect in the midst of wedding planning. Couples tell me time and again how much they looked forward to dance lessons as a "date night" and a way to focus on and support each other leading up to their wedding.
If you are engaged and want to give a meaningful gift to your significant other this Valentine's Day, give the gift of dance lessons. Check out my wedding dance packages for pricing, and when you're ready, fill out my Get Started form. I look forward to working with you on your first dance!
