Wedding Reception Shoe Ideas for Dancing

Anyone who has taken lessons from me knows that I am always wearing sneakers when I teach. That's because, quite frankly, my feet hurt! After years of stuffing my toes into pointe shoes and pointy stilettos and practically living in non-supportive flats during the work week, my feet are sad and tired. Can I get an Amen?

Obviously, if you love wearing heels and you haven't abused your feet past the point of no return, you should definitely wear beautiful heels proudly on your wedding day. But trust me when I say that you should really try to find the most comfortable ones possible! (See my previous blog post on shoes made for dancin' that offers suggestions on the best styles to choose for dancing at your wedding.)

What has me excited today is my discovery of an adorable new Keds collaboration with design darlings, Rifle Paper Co. I have long been a fan of Rifle Paper Co. for their beautiful prints and Keds for their comfy, flexible and easy-to-dance-in sneaks. I can definitely see the comfort-conscious bride wearing the Queen Anne style from the Fall 2017 collection:

Or, how about this beautiful embroidered sneaker!

I'm sure Rifle Paper Co. had brides in mind when they joined forces with Keds, just like Kate Spade and the popular sparkly sneaks. Now brides can match their invitations and paper goods with their shoes! How fun!

I am currently booking late October through December couples as well as spring 2018 weddings. If you are ready to get on the calendar or start taking wedding dance lessons, head over to my Get Started page and tell me a little bit about your wedding and what you hope to accomplish with your first dance. I can't wait to hear from you.
